Many of these heroes suffer from advanced MS, strokes, and Lou Gehrigs Disease; they can't walk, leave their beds, or even move more than their eyes and heads. They are stuck there watching TV 24/7.
Drawing on his experience building DVD lending libraries for our soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan, Ken approached the VA with the idea to give these heroes something else to do, watch a movie. To his suprise, the VA is working on building a lending library to serve all the patients at the hospital.
The VA Volunteer services asked Ken to help and he jumped on it!
