Hello! We are Ken & Angel Meyer. Ken founded "Operation:A Bit of Home" while Angel was serving in Iraq in 2004. As a group, we have sent over 10,000 boxes to Iraq. We give civic presentations with a computerized slide show. I discuss how one person can make a difference, and Angel answers questions on what it is like to be a woman in combat, You can visit the media page to read our story.

The purpose of this website is to inform you of the needs of our troops. We show you a way to support your troops yourself by giving you lists of what is needed, how to pack it, where to send it, and how to fill out the paperwork at the Post Office. There is LOTS of information in this web page. We hope it is useful to you. We love donations through our Donations page, but we encourage you to send your own boxes od DVD's for the troops!
This handsome young man (87) is Kens father, Bob Meyer. Bob is the West Coast Director for OABOH. He is a WWII Glider Pilot. He gives civic presentations about being a glider pilot, and talks about OABOH. He is a past president of the Orange Rotary Club, has the Boy Scouts Silver Beaver award and is on the staff of the Crystal Cathedral in CAL. A real go-getter, Bob runs theRotary Club Holiday Mail Train and is responsible for sending thousands of boxes to our troops, including 10,000 wool beanies to Iraq in time for the cold winter nights. In his spare time Bob...ummm...Does Bob have any spare time? He makes US tired!
